The Rootstock community is pleased to announce the release of the latest version of the RSKj client, which is now available in the RSKj GitHub repository. This update introduces the fiat-stable minimum gas price feature (disabled by default), enabling mining pools to automatically adjust their minimum gas price configuration based on the price of Bitcoin. Additionally, it includes JSON-RPC interface improvements and dependency upgrades, now supporting Java 21 LTS.
Although this upgrade is optional, it is strongly recommended that users update their nodes to the latest version to benefit from enhanced performance and security.
What changes are included in the Arrowhead 6.4.0?

- Upgraded the Jackson dependency to version 2.15.4, by @Vovchyk in #2715.
- Refactored bridge classes by @wilmerrootstock, @marcos-iov, and @julia-zack in #2309, #2423, #2433, #2545, #2603, #2672, and #2681.

How do I upgrade to version 6.4.0?
Starting with this release, Java 17 (LTS) is now the minimum supported version. Previous versions will no longer be supported, so node operators should upgrade to a compatible Java version to ensure continued functionality. Upgrading to this version requires no other considerations.
