Rootstock Hacktivator allows developers, writers or thought-leaders to contribute to the Rootstock ecosystem by writing code or publishing educational content. You can get rewarded for your valuable contributions!

There are two main ways to participate:

  • Contribute Code: Help improve the Rootstock platform by making contributions to reference projects or developing new features.
  • Create Educational Content: Educate the developer community by writing blog posts, tutorials, or technical documentation about Rootstock.

All contributions must be:

  • High Quality: Valuable to the Rootstock ecosystem, improving functionality, usability, or education.
  • Original: Created by you, not translations or adaptations without proper attribution.
  • Relevant: Directly benefiting Rootstock's developer community.
  • Accurate: Code, tutorials, and other technical content must be precise and technically accurate.

There are two main categories:

  • Code Contributions: Contribute code to reference projects or develop new features for the Rootstock platform.
  • Educational Content: Create educational content to help developers learn more about Rootstock.

Several reference projects are provided as starting points, including:

  • CLI (Command Line Interface) for interacting with the network.
  • Voting Scoreboard to showcase token-based voting.
  • Giveaway Engine for airdropping tokens.
  • Meme Token Launchpad for creating your own tokens.
  • Multi-Language SDK for expanding developer accessibility.

Eligible contributions will receive rewards based on their impact and value to the Rootstock developer community.

  • Code Contributions: Rewards range from $50 to $1,000 USD depending on the complexity, project impact, testing included, and documentation provided.
  • Educational Content: Rewards range from $50 to $1,000 USD depending on the depth, completeness, technical accuracy, educational value, and innovation of the content.

1. Complete your work: Ensure your code or educational content is polished and meets the contribution criteria.

2. Submit through Google Form: Use the provided Google Form link to submit your contribution. You'll be asked for details like your name, country, email address, wallet address, and a description of your work.

3. Review: Experts will review your submission and may request revisions.
