Rootstock Ambassador Program: Shape The Future of Bitcoin DeFi

We’re kicking off something big, and we want you to be a part of it.

Rootstock is re-opening the Ambassador Program: a new way for creators, educators, developers, and organizers to grow the Bitcoin DeFi ecosystem together. Whether you’re a seasoned Rootstock user or just getting started, this is your chance to go deeper, connect globally, and earn recognition for your impact.

Why We’re Re-launching This

Bitcoin is evolving, and so is Rootstock. But infrastructure alone isn’t enough. We need voices, faces, and communities that bring it to life.

That’s where you come in.

This program is designed for people who care about Bitcoin’s future and want to actively shape it: by sharing knowledge, creating content, hosting events, and supporting new builders.

Two Paths to Make Your Mark

We’ve structured the program around two core contribution paths:

Community & Creator Path

You love to educate, share, and spark conversations. This path is for content creators, community leaders, and online organizers.

What you might do:

  • Create videos, graphics, or threads about Rootstock
  • Break down ecosystem updates in accessible ways
  • Engage in community channels (Telegram, Discord, X)

Events & Engagement Path

You thrive in real-time, live interactions. This path is for those who want to host events, speak at hackathons, or run local meetups.

What you might do:

  • Host Twitter Spaces, workshops, or livestreams
  • Organize IRL meetups or educational activations
  • Attend events and represent Rootstock in your region

How It Works

The program runs on a point-based system. Every time you complete a task, from tweeting to organizing an event, you earn points. The more you contribute, the more perks you unlock: exclusive merch, shoutouts, access to exclusive calls with the Rootstock Core team, tickets for events, and more.

Who Should Apply

You don’t need to be an influencer or a Solidity wizard. If you’re passionate about Bitcoin, understand what Rootstock is enabling, and want to help others see it too, you’re already on the right track.

Minimum:

  • Experience creating, educating, or organizing in Web3
  • Familiarity with Rootstock or the Bitcoin DeFi ecosystem
  • Ability to commit to 1–2 quality contributions per month

Bonus:

  • Multilingual content creators encouraged (especially in Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Portuguese, English, Arabic and Chinese)
  • Active in regional Web3 or Bitcoin communities
  • Past participation in Rootstock campaigns or hackathons

Why Join?

  • Help shape the future of Bitcoin DeFi
  • Get access to exclusive ecosystem insights and early product previews
  • Earn recognition for your content, events, and leadership
  • Receive Rootstock exclusive swag
  • Build your public profile in crypto

Ready to Join?

The Rootstock Ambassador Program is now live.

Whether you’re posting on X, teaching friends about RIF, or hosting your city’s first Bitcoin DeFi meetup, we want you in the movement.

Introducing Union Bridge on Testnet: Verifiable Bitcoin Bridging Begins

Now live on Rootstock Testnet, Union introduces a new model for Bitcoin interoperability based on verification rather than trust. By strengthening the security assumptions behind how BTC moves into programmable environments, Union reinforces Rootstock’s role as the Bitcoin-aligned smart contract platform. This first release is experimental and not production-ready, but it lays the foundation for […]

Introducing Atlas: The easiest way in to BTCFi

Introducing Atlas: The easiest way in to BTCFi

Most Bitcoin today is held, not actively used. Not because there’s no demand, but because using Bitcoin beyond holding is complex, costly, and dependent on intermediaries where tradeoffs around trust, cost, and control aren’t always clear. Borrowing against BTC or generating yield has traditionally required navigating fragmented infrastructure, comparing bridges, and making routing and security […]
