Merged mining report - October 2023

At IOVlabs, we are dedicated to enhancing the Rootstock community’s understanding of network security. Starting today, we want to empower the community with transparent mining key insights through Rootstock monthly hashrate reports

By presenting easy-to-understand information using tables and graphs, we aim to provide a clear picture of the Bitcoin mining industry’s involvement in Rootstock through merged mining. Among other key metrics, the hashrate reports will include monthly network total hashrate and mining pool hashrate distribution on the Rootstock network. Although this information can be extracted from the publicly available Bitcoin and Rootstock ledgers, it is sometimes hard to collect.

For a detailed breakdown, you can access the full report here.

Hashrate Reports Key Insights

With the monthly hashrate reports, we delve into critical metrics to give users a comprehensive understanding of the Rootstock network’s strength and security. The following key insights offer valuable perspectives on the evolving mining landscape:

  • Total Monthly Hashrate: Assess the security and strength of Rootstock through monthly total hashrate metrics.
  • Bitcoin Mining Pools in Rootstock: Explore the increasing participation of Bitcoin mining pools in securing the Rootstock network.
  • Mining Pools Hashrate Distribution: Uncover the Rootstock mining landscape with insights into hashrate distribution.
